I recently had a mixed experience with The Door Company in Redding. Initially, I called them for a broken spring and was promised same-day service within a two-hour window. Unfortunately, no one showed up, and after checking in, I discovered my work order was still sitting in their fax machine. This lack of responsiveness led me to hire another company, which was not only cheaper but also provided excellent service.

On a more positive note, I did hear from others who had success with their technicians. Mike and John received rave reviews for their prompt and professional repairs, completing tasks like spring replacements and opener installations quickly. One satisfied customer even praised the reasonable pricing for a garage door opener installation at roughly $350, highlighting the quality of work delivered.

However, my experience and a few others pointed out issues with customer service when inquiring about estimates. One customer noticed a lack of empathy and professionalism when discussing options. Overall, The Door Company showcases some skilled technicians, but their customer service and communication could use significant improvement.
